Dear Alamosa Park Families,

Thank you to all virtual- and classic-enrolled families, teachers, and support staff for your continuous support of Alamosa Park students! In this Family Letter is the following:

Alamosa’s Got Talent – Virtual Talent Show (video viewing date: Friday, April 16)
  • The Alamosa Park Education Foundation (APEF) and Alamosa Park are proud to announce the Alamosa’s Got Talent, Virtual Talent Show!
  • Attention Alamosa Park students: If you are interested is displaying one of your personal talents, please communicate your interest with your family. In order for your final video to be considered for the Alamosa’s Got Talent (AGT) Show, please be sure that your parent or guardian submits the Permission Form to Principal Ruggles no later than Friday, March 26. Your first video submission is due Tuesday, March 23 and your final video is due no later than Tuesday, April 6.
  • Please see THIS AGT Flyer for submission dates, where to send your video, parent permission document, and all details. I would like to thank AP Teachers, Mrs. Garcia, Mrs. Olsen, and the APEF for the great support with this fun student and community event.

Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten Registration for the 2021-22 School Year

Parents may register Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students at Alamosa Park.

It is important to register early to ensure proper placement at your school of residence. Click here for School Locator.
The age requirements are as follows:
  • Kindergarten: child must be born on or before September 1, 2016
  • Transitional Kindergarten: child must be born between September 2, 2016 - December 2, 2016
  • To register for TK or Kindergarten at Alamosa Park, please call (760) 940-0700 to set up an appointment for registration.

    • Tuesday, March 23: Wear Yellow or Orange Day - Shooting Hoops for the Gold -Basketball 
    • Wednesday, March 24: Wear Rainbow of Colors Day - Jumping for the Gold
    • Thursday, March 25: Wear Green Day - Jogging for the Gold
    • Friday, March 26: Wear Hawk Spirit Day - Sprinting for the Gold​​​​​​​
  • Friday, March 26 – Trimester 2 Progress Reports sent home
  • Monday, March 29 – Friday, April 2:  Spring Break (no school)
