Dear Alamosa Park Families,

Thank you to all virtual- and classic-enrolled families, teachers, and support staff for your continuous support of Alamosa Park students! In this Family Letter is the following:
  • Healthy Hawk Week – next week
  • Trimester 2 Progress Reports – next Friday, March 26
  • Alamosa’s Got Talent – Virtual Talent Show (please see flyer below for details)

March 22 – 26 - Healthy Hawk Week – Celebrating Healthy Lifestyles at Alamosa Park!
  • Being physically, mentally and emotionally healthy have always been cornerstones of the Alamosa Park school culture. I am proud to announced that next week is our Healthy Hawk Week.
  • During lunch recess times, lunchtime supervisors and I will coordinate fun and fitness activities in playground quadrants while maintaining stable groups.
  • I am looking forward to participating with students during this special week of health at Alamosa Park!

Trimester 2 Progress Reports
  • Classic – will be sent home with student on Friday, March 26
  • Virtual – will be mailed home by Friday, March 26
As a reminder, you will be receiving your student’s Trimester 2 Progress Report very soon. Trimester 2 Progress Reports will not be ready to print until Thursday, March 25.
  • Virtual student Progress Reports will be mailed home after March 25, which means that Virtual families will not receive their child’s progress report until Monday, March 29, or soon thereafter.
  • Classic student Progress Reports will go home with students on Friday, March 26.
This is a perfect time to review progress, strengths, and focus areas with your child. Please contact me ([email protected]) or your child's teacher for any questions about the progress report.

Alamosa’s Got Talent – Virtual Talent Show (video viewing date: Friday, April 16)

Attention Alamosa Park students: The Alamosa Park Education Foundation (APEF) and Alamosa Park are proud to announce the Alamosa’s Got Talent, Virtual Talent Show.
  • If you are interested is displaying one of your personal talents, please communicate your interest with your family.
  • Please be sure that your parent or guardian submits the Permission Form to Principal Ruggles no later than Friday, March 26.
  • Your first video submission is due Tuesday, March 23 and your final video is due no later than Tuesday, April 6.
  • Please see THIS AGT Flyer for submission dates, where to send your video, parent permission document, and all details.
I would like to thank AP Teachers, Mrs. Garcia, Mrs. Olsen, and the APEF for your great support for this fun student and community event. – Principal Ruggles

PTA Executive Board Member nomination forms available

The Alamosa Park PTA is thankful for your support this school year. The Alamosa Park PTA is in search of next year's 2021-2022 Executive Board and members. No experience is necessary. The more help and support we have, the more we can all do together. Please feel free to reach out to AP PTA President, Marnic Monroe at [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any questions. This FORM can be dropped off at Alamosa Park or you can respond to the emails listed. All nomination considerations must be submitted by Tuesday April 13,2021. The slate will be posted on Friday April 16,2021. Voting will take place at our general board meeting on Thursday May 13,2021 at 6:30 p.m. 

Lost & Found Items:
 
The Lost & Found cart will be located outside of gate, near the parking lot after school on next week. Please pick up any items that your child may have misplaced. We will continue to remind students of checking lost and found items as well. Thank you.
