APEF-sponsored Winter Spirit Days & Gratitude Wall (December 14 - 18)
In order to sustain high levels of school spirit, APEF is initiating another spirit day week. Also, with the APEF Gratitude Wall, students will be able to express their appreciation by recognizing others for their kindness. Please see below.
Winter Wonderland Gratitude Wall
APEF will create a backdrop with blue/white butcher paper along the top sections of the front gate area. AP students will have the chance to write something they are grateful for; submit well wishes for a classmate or their family; send a kindness messages to our staff; issue notes of positivity to others. I would like to thank APEF for developing this great idea that will help bring our community together by spreading gratitude across the community.

Superintendent's Council for Equity and Anti-Racism -- First Virtual Community Forum is next Thursday, December 10, 2020, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Zoom
The Superintendent’s Council for Equity and Anti-Racism is a group of parents, students, teachers, staff, administration, community members, and board members who meet monthly with a focus on supporting systems and practices that reflect the district’s commitment to equity and anti-racism. In our meetings this year, we are discussing professional development opportunities, as well as reviewing our discipline and grading policies through an equity lens. An important part of the structure of the Superintendent’s Council is to get feedback from our community. This feedback, as well as data, surveys, and information from a global and national perspective informs the equity and anti-racism recommendations that we provide to the superintendent. Please join us on Thursday, December 10, from 5:00-6:00pm for our first Equity and Anti-Racism Virtual Community Forum. You can access the meeting by using the following Zoom Link.
