Dear Alamosa Park Families, I hope you and your family are doing well. The purpose of this email is to:
Red Ribbon Week: Thank you to everyone in the AP community for displaying such a high level of school spirit this week. Every spirit day has been fantastic with Wearing Red on Monday, Crazy Socks on Tuesday, Jerseys on Wednesday, and Western attire on Thursday. Everyone is teaming up against drugs. Pajama Day is tomorrow, 10/30. If you are wearing pajamas, please be sure you are covered-up and wearing appropriate shoes for outside activity – please do not wear slippers. Thank you. Breakfast moved to recess times: Free breakfast and free lunch continues to be available to all students. Starting Monday, November 2, I am making the adjustment to offer free breakfast to all students during their recess time due to very few students eating breakfast before school. However, if a student needs to eat breakfast before school for any reason, we will make sure to serve that student breakfast before school begins. Five minutes added between recess times: Also, starting Monday, November 2, I am adding five minutes added between recess times to allow for additional time for students to transition to and from recess and their classroom. There are no changes to the start time, lunch times or staggered dismissal times. Please see the daily recess, lunch, PE, dismissal, and hand hygiene schedule by clicking HERE.
