Dear Alamosa Park Families,

Thank you to all virtual- and classic-enrolled families, teachers, and support staff for your continuous support of Alamosa Park students! In this Family Letter is the following:

• Elimination of Rainy Day Early Dismissal – Alamosa Park will have Regular afternoon student Dismissal times on Rainy Days
• PTA Spring Virtual Book Fair
• Alamosa’s Got Talent – Virtual Talent Show
• Trimester 2 Progress Reports – coming home this Friday, March 26
• Community Update (03/24/21) from our Superintendent, Dr. Doyle
• Happy Spring Break! School resumes Monday, April 5

Elimination of Rainy Day Early Dismissal for Classic-Enrolled students
From this day forward, Alamosa Park will have Regular Dismissal times on Rainy Days. Dismissal times during rainy days will remain the same as regular school day.
I am proud to share with you that we have been working behind the scenes to keep Classic-enrolled students in school full-day when it rains. From this point forward, all rainy days will now be full school days for Vista Classic-enrolled students at Alamosa Park.
We will continue to ensure that students are practicing safety measures at lunchtime when their masks are removed to eat. We have put additional measures in place, such as additional canopies, that will keep students both safe and dry. Please click HERE for the lunch times and dismissal times.

Alamosa Park PTA Spring Virtual Scholastic Book Fair (Monday, April 5 – Sunday, April 18)
Alamosa Park PTA is sponsoring the 2nd virtual book fair for the 2020-2021 school year. For the link to the virtual book fair, please click HERE. Please contact [email protected] for any questions.

Alamosa’s Got Talent – Virtual Talent Show (Friday, April 16)
Attention Alamosa Park students: The Alamosa Park Education Foundation (APEF) and Alamosa Park are proud to announce the Alamosa’s Got Talent, Virtual Talent Show.

I would like to thank AP Teachers, Mrs. Garcia, Mrs. Olsen, and the APEF for your great support for this fun student and community event. – Principal Ruggles

Trimester 2 Progress Reports
As a reminder, you will be receiving your student’s Trimester 2 Progress Report very soon.

• Virtual student Progress Reports will be mailed home after March 25, which means that Virtual families will not receive their child’s progress report until Monday, March 29, or soon thereafter.
• Classic student Progress Reports will go home with students on Friday, March 26.

This is a perfect time to review progress, strengths, and focus areas with your child. Please contact me ([email protected]) or your child's teacher for any questions about the progress report.
