Dear Alamosa Park Families,
Thank you to all virtual- and classic-enrolled families, teachers, and support staff for your continuous support of Alamosa Park students! In this AP Family Letter is the following:
Health & Safety Reminders for students:
Thank you for continuing to abide by all safety measures. Please continue to follow directions from your teacher, wash and sanitize hands, remain socially distanced from each other, properly wear your mask, and remember to bring your water bottle. Thank You!
Mask Reminders for Parents and Families:
I would like to remind parents and families to please continue to wear masks when picking up or dropping off your student when you are in parking lot and outside of your vehicle. On campus and in parking lot, we are still following CA Dept. of Public Health. By wearing your mask in parking lot with large gatherings, we are demonstrating health and safety for everyone at Alamosa Park, while sustaining safety and health for all of our students and staff. The consistent approach and support from everyone adds to the health and safety of everyone. Thank you!
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week (Week of May 3 – May 7)
As principal, I have the great pleasure and honor to work with our amazing teachers and support staff every day. I have the good fortune of seeing the outstanding work they do, in-person and virtually. I am deeply honored to work with our great team!
I would like to remind everyone that the week of May 3 is a perfect time for students to write a note or provide a thoughtful gesture to our teachers and support staff for the great job teachers and staff are doing every day.
I am deeply honored to work with our great team at Alamosa Park!
Teacher Appreciation Week (AP Parent Teacher Association)
Thank you to our fantastic AP PTA for your extra hard work in supporting our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week (Week of May 3). Our PTA is recognizing staff every day. On behalf of our staff, we thank you!!
In addition to the events listed below, our generous PTA will be decorating the school cage and front area with signs, created by PTA, Foundation, and the 5th grade student council / Hawk Club.

5th Grade Promotion
Attention 5th Grade Students and Families: The Alamosa Park 5th Grade Promotion will be in-person on Wednesday, June 16, at 8:30 a.m. on the blacktop area on our beautiful campus. I will be communicating safety and health measures to all students, families, and staff very soon. I am looking forward to recognizing all of our 5th Grade students, in-person, for their hard work and accomplishments before promoting on to middle school.
Thank you to our parents who responded to the survey. The results were more favorable to have an in-person celebration, and I believe our students deserve an in-person celebration.
I am very proud of our students and looking forward to this very special time to honor our students! More to come soon. Go hawks!
